Nicolas Denys Days

Nicolas Denys Days is an annual festival that strives to provide visitors to Cape Breton Island with an authentic Island experience. The festival scheduled the first week of August each year.

The many events planned for the week are hosted by various organizations to ensure that the whole community benefits from and participates actively in the festival. As a visitor to the area, this approach give you an opportunity to “get to know” our whole community and join in the fun all week long!

Nicolas Denys Days is organized by Village On The Canal Association. VOCA acknowledges and is thankful to all of the organizations, businesses, sponsors, and volunteers who help make Nicolas Denys Days a success every year.
