November 7 – 6pm – 7pm: – Ballroom Dancing for Beginners. Step into a world of elegance and rhythm with our beginner’s social dance course! Whether you’re looking to impress on the dance floor or simply enjoy movement, we will guide you every step of the way. Imagine gracefully gliding through a waltz, feeling the exhilaration of salsa rhythms, or the timeless charm of a foxtrot or tango. This class caters to all beginner levels. Participants are required to come to class with suitable shoes for dancing. Shoe with a firm, smooth sole. October 16 – 10am – 11am: – Floor Yoga | All Ages, All Levels
A welcoming environment for all levels, all ages. Working towards personal goals through stretching, breathing and a concluding
meditation. Poses will cater to participants’ needs, focusing on specific areas of the body. Bring a mat, stretching strap and blanket.
Isle Madame New Horizons Seniors Building, Arichat. Wednesdays, for 6 weeks, beginning, October 16. 10:00 am – 11:00 am, Fee: $45.00. Instructor: Krista Norman.

Parent and Child Yoga
Gentle stretches for both caregiver and baby (12 months and under). Take care of your mind and body with some gentle
floor stretches to strengthen your core, focusing on posture. A relaxing and fun environment with gentle music.

Sound Bowl Guided Meditation

Come and enjoy the benefits of meditation and how to live more in the present moment. You will be guided through a

Mat Pilates with Magic Ring
October 3 – 7pm – 8pm: – Mat Pilates with Magic Ring uses a series of controlled moves to improve physical strength, flexibility, posture and mental awareness. In addition to Pilate’s fundamentals, this class uses a special resistance ring for an even better Pilates workout!

Zumba
October 9 – Zumba is a fun, effective dance workout that is a good option for people who enjoy upbeat music and an energetic group
exercise environment. Richmond Education Centre/Academy, Louisdale (AV room ). Tuesdays, for 6 weeks, beginning October 1
6:30 pm – 7:15 pm, Fee: $40.00. Instructor: Margaret MacNeil-Gracie October 9 – 7pm – 8pm: – Glow Spin Class
Join Sonia for her favorite spin class as she brings it to a new level. This glow in the dark class will engage your core and
your mind as spinners glow with glee. Participants are asked to bring their brightest clothes and enjoy the ride.
*Limit of 7 participants for this program. Centre iFit, Arichat Wednesdays, for 4 weeks, beginning October 9.  7:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Fee: $28.00. Instructor: Sonia Morris Glow Spin.

October 1 – 2pm -4pm: – Line Dancing – All Levels (Ages 18+). No partner required. If you can count to 8, you can line dance. The best steps you will ever take! Belinda invites you to a fun and rewarding way to exercise and work on your total body wellness, both physically and mentally. You will learn many line dancing steps and dance to various music genres all while gaining confidence on the dance floor and improving your whole-body wellness. United Church Hall, St. Peter’s. Tuesdays, for 10 weeks, beginning October 1 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Fee: $50.00.Instructor: Belinda LaRochelle.

PiYo Live (Virtual)

October 17 – 6:30pm: – PiYo Live is a virtual, athletic workout, which combines the mind/body practices of Yoga and Pilates as well as the principles of stretching, strength training, conditioning, and dynamic movement. We crank up the music, the speed, and the fun to give you an intense, yet low-impact workout. Modifications can be made for all fitness levels. Thursdays, for 6 weeks, beginning October 17, 6:30 pm, Fee: $50,00. Instructor: Margaret MacNeil-Gracie.

October 7 -Vinyasa Yoga
Commit time to yourself and your self-care with this 6-week gentle vinyasa yoga program, suitable for all levels. We will
focus on breathwork, mindful movement, and cultivating a state of ease on and off your mat. You will leave each class
feeling rejuvenated, grounded and strong to settle into your evening and prepare for your week ahead. Riverdale Community Centre, Lower River Mondays, for 8 weeks, beginning October 7from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Fee: $80.00. Instructor: Katie LeBlanc.

 

October 9 – 6:30pm – 7:30pm: – Vinyasa Yoga

A cardiovascular workout that will take you on a stationary but sweaty ride. You will be riding to the beat for 60 minutes,
challenging yourself with varied intensities, body positions, pedal speed, resistance and a weight track to make this class
a full body workout! This introduction program runs for a total of 4 weeks, two sessions each week. A maximum of 7 participants
per program. Participants are asked to bring a hand towel and water bottle. Modifications can be made for all fitness levels.
Centre iFit, Arichat. Mondays and Thursdays, for 4 weeks, beginning November 4 – 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Fee: $56.00. Instructor: Sonia Morris,

December 2 – 5pm – 6pm: – Spin – Level 2

October 6 – 4:30pm – 5:30pm: – Tae Kwon Do (Ages 13+) Tae Kwon Do can be taught to all ages and ability levels; whether you are a seasoned athlete or just starting out. Tae Kwon Do helps develop muscle strength, flexibility, body balance and speed in movement. Hospitality Suite, Richmond Arena. Sundays, for 8 weeks, beginning October 6 from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm, Fee: $50 (Includes belt test). Instructor: Jason Doiron, 3rd Degree Black Belt.
