St. Peter’s Pirate Days!

Thursday, Sept 13 to Sunday, Sept 16, 2018

Ahoy mateys – St. Peter’s is the place to be for Pirate Days celebrations!  We hope you will join in on this annual event with the St. Peter’s community and businesses while finding your inner pirate. There will be a weekend of fun activities scheduled for all ages. Pirates from far and near visit and have promised to bring even more of their friends in 2018! So come to St. Peter’s mateys, by land or sea, September 13 – 16, 2018 and celebrate Pirate Days with us.  But keep your wits about you – you don’t want to be shanghaied!

Those who would like to play and to support Pirate Days can register a number and play your number for $2 each week until March 2018. Half of the bounty collected each week is the prize payout. For more details on the draw and to register stop in at B&E General Store in St. Peter’s.

St. Peters Pirate Days is carried out under the auspices of the St. Peter’s Pirate Association.

Many businesses in town are onboard with decorating both the outside and inside of the stores as well as dressed up in pirate regalia. The judges will be around on Friday to score the completion so all are encourage to put their best leg forward.

Best Dressed House

Decorate your house for landlubbers to enjoy!

The judges will be looking around town for the best dressed house on the outside. Preregister will be required to make sure we don’t miss you1. Stay tuned for prizes and details.

Pirate Pet Parade

Aye, sometimes it’s hard to teller the pirate from the pet!

The Villa is the place to be Saturday at 1:00 pm. Pets and most pet owners will be in full pirate gear parading for the clients and friends and families to win them over. No experience necessary – just a good heart my friends. No entry fee. Prizes and local entertainment. Stay tuned for more.

Cardboard Boat Battle

Get the crew and boat ready beforehand to do battle!

There are two cardboard boat races this year. The Cardboard Cutthroats are all about building a floating galleon beforehand using approved materials and then launching two or more crew onto the seas to do battle with others. There is an entry fee and bounty to the winner! Stay tuned here for Rules and Regulations!

Best Dressed Pirates

Come dressed your best at the Pirate Bash!

There are three Pirate bashes going on in town and the judges are on the lookout for the best dressed one at each. prizes and bragging rights are on the line. Stay tuned for more details!

Ship of Fools

Built your cardboard vessel on site in time to race!

There are two cardboard boat races this year. The Ship of Fools was great fun last year and is great for families and kids. Just show up the day of the race and we will give you all the materials and an hour to build your boat for one and then enter the race to the finish! No experience necessary. Bring a towel!

Parade of Lights

Check out the pirate fleet as it parades in full regalia around the lake.
