Show your support at the Cold Plate Fundraiser at Louie’s Cosy Corner in St. Peter’s. Oh hi friends! A local family is facing a tough battle and we want to try and help with the financial burden that comes along with that. Alicia Tanner, a dedicated mom of 5, has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. Alicia’s partner Jason MacDonald has volunteered his time at more benefits than anyone could count so let’s repay the favour. Cold plates are $15 each with proceeds going directly to the family. Meals MUST be preordered at 902 535 3195 and picked up at the restaurant on February 27th. Meals can be prepaided by etransfer @ Louiescosycorner@yahoo.ca (Please put your name, phone number, and number of plates in the memo.) or paid when picked up (cash please!). MacBouch will also be hosting a benefit at the end of March so anyone looking to donate auction items or bake sale goodies should contact Shanna Burke.
