Wednesday, April 10

6:30pm – 9:30pm (doors open at 5:45pm) Song Circle will take place at the Louisdale Lions Community Center in Louisdale. These song circles are for anyone who enjoys singing, playing and /or listening to live music!  The song Circle events will take place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. Please bring instruments, music stand and change for a donation box at the door. The money is used to purchase food for our snack time from 7:30pm to 7:45pm with tea and coffee. Come out for an evening of fun! Meet new people, learn new songs and share music with others.

Friday, April 12

8pm – 10pm – Weekly Friday Night Jam Session at the MacBouch Restaurant & Lounge in St. Peter’s.

Saturday, April 13

7pm: – Cyril McPhee, companied by Harold Davidson and Doug Sampson perform at the St. John’s Center for the Arts in Arichat. Tickets $10.00.

Sunday, April 14

8am – 11am: – Community Breakfast will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 150 in Arichat. This breakfast is held the 1st Sunday of each month. Sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 150.

7pm: – Cyril McPhee, companied by Harold Davidson and Doug Sampson perform at the Tara Lynne Community Centre in River Bourgeois. Tickets $10.00.

Monday, April 15

6:30pm: – Crossing Borders will take place at La Picasse. A group of young New York Fiddlers and our own Island Steppers will join forces to entertain you. For an amazing evening of entertainment make sure to take in this Crossing Borders Event. Admission is a silver Collection at the door. There will also be a ½ and ½ ticket draw.

Thursday, April 18

8pm-10pm: – Wear Your Tartan Trivia will take place at the MacBouch Restaurant & Lounge. Join organizers for an evening of fun in support of our local highland dance group, Richmond Highlanders. “Mostly” general knowledge trivia with a few twists here and there. Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. Maximum of 4 people per team. $10 per person entry fee. **Optional** Wear your favorite tartan for a chance to win an additional “best dressed” prize. Friday, April 19

9:30am – 11.00: – Easter Fun Day fundraiser for the Children’s Wish Foundation will take place on Good Friday, at the St. Peter’s Lion’s Hall.  Come join us for a pancake Breakfast 9:30-11:00am (Silver Collection) with lots of entertainment. There will be Egg decorating, crafts, face painting, a giant outdoor egg hunt, cupcakes/cookies & juice and a visit with the Easter bunny, a bake sale, tickets on an Easter basket and more. ($5/child or $10/family of two or more)

4:30pm – 7pm: – Fish Supper will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 150 in Arichat on the 3rd. Friday of each month.

9pm – 11pm – Weekly Friday Night Jam Session at the MacBouch Restaurant & Lounge in St. Peter’s.

Saturday, April 20

1pm to 3pm – Easter Eggstravaganza, will take place at the Riverdale Community Centre. Lots of fun events schedule, Easter egg hunt, kids crafts, cookie decorating, cake and cupcake walk, face painting and free hotdogs, pop or juice for the kids. Bring your Easter Basket.

9:30pm – 1:30am: – Adult Dance with music by “Bittersweet” at the D’Escousse Civic Improvement Hall  Must be 19+ to attend and  Govt ID are required.  Advance tickets are being sold at the DIMA office, Shamrock Store or Jeantie’s Mini Mart

Sunday, April 21

9am – 12pm: – Community Breakfast will be held at the St. George’s Channel Hall in St. George’s Channel on the 3rd Sunday of each month.

8:30am – 11:30am: – Community Breakfast will be held at the Evergreen Club in Port Hawkesbury on the last Saturday of the month.

6:00pm – 9pm: – Luis Cosy Corner Restaurant presents Mexican Night with great Mexican themed menu. Tickets (advance) are $35.00 per person with entertainment by Cyril McPhee and Harold Davidson

6pm: – (Doors open at 5:30pm: – Skits and Giggles Dinner Theatre will take place at the Riverdale Community Centre in Lower River. Tickets are $40.00 and the dinner includes Garden Salad, Glazed Stuffed Pork, and Ginger Poke and Pour Cake for dessert. Entertainment includes: Good Old Fashion Fun with plays and story telling and musical entertainment by Bradley Andrew and Evelyn MacRae.

Sunday, April 28

8am – 12pm: – Community Breakfast will be held at the Louisdale Lions Community Centre in Louisdale on the last Sunday of each month.
