GeoCaching All Week Long!
Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online and with friends. This is a multi-cache with 9 stations hidden throughout the St. Peter's area. Register at the Visitor Information Centre or by calling 535-2185 (geocaching instructions provided if required). $5 / Team. Prizes to be awarded.

Teddy Bear Picnic:
Hosted by the Dr. Kingston Memorial Clinic Health Project, this year's picnic will include Tumblebugs, storytime, crafts, physical activities and a BBQ at noon. 4th Annual War Canoe Races:

Nicolas Denys Museum Open House:
Hosted by the St. Peter's Community Club, explore three centuries of history of St. Pierre, Fort Toulouse, St. Peter's Canal, and Nicolas Denys. Location: Nicolas Denys Museum Cost: Free Time: 1pm - 4pm
2-Hour Open Cruise:
Hosted by Wallace MacAskill Yacht Club. Climb aboard for a 2 hour cruise, with volunteer captains and their yachts from our local yacht club. Art Al Fresco:
Artists set up their easels all over the Village of St. Peter's for a day of outdoor painting - a wonderful experience for the public to observe artists at work and to have the chance to buy work they've been watching the artist create. To participate as an artist, register before July 20 at www.visitstpeters.com or call Shannon at 535-2587. Location: United Church Hall Cost: Art available for purchase (Silent Auction) Time: Artists Register at 8:30am / Viewing throughout the day / Bidding on art ends at 4:30pm
Chalk on the Sidewalk:
Hosted by VOCA and local volunteers. Create your own chalk masterpiece! Individuals, children and groups are welcome. Bring your own chalk and create a work of art! Camp-Out at the Park:
Hosted by VOCA, Parks Canada and NS Natural Resources. Bring your camping gear and marshmallows, and get ready for some camping fun! Campfire conversation, music, and storytelling.
