GeoCaching All Week Long!
Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences onlineand with friends. This is a multi-cache with 9 stations hidden throughout the St. Peter's area. Register at the Visitor Information Centre or by calling 535-2185. Teddy Bear Picnic:
Hosted by the Dr. Kingston Memorial Clinic Health Project, this year's picnic will include storytime, crafts, physical activities and a BBQ at noon. Don't forget your favorite teddy bear or super hero - we'll be giving them a medical and dental check up!

Hosted by This Just In from Richmond County, this is the young band's second appearance at Nicolas Denys Days. This Just In recently performed at the Battle of the Bands at the Savoy in Glace Bay, they will be performing in the Concerts by the Sea, and they are scheduled to have a busy summer performing at various locations in Cape Breton. Don't miss what promises to be a great performance!

Join Natural Resources staff and special guests for an entertaining evening of stories covering topics from the area's history to wildlife. Film Screenings:
The Cape Breton Film Makers Association is providing a screening of four short films: Copain Trilogy and Conscript by Jacob Owens. Accolades for the Copain Trilogy include as many as 12 film festival official selections world-wide and winner for Excellence in Art Direction at the Atlantic Film Festival in 2006. Conscript earned a title for Best Editing at the Atlantic Film Festival in 2009.
